Major Lazer - projekt muzyczny stworzony przez Diplo i Switcha w 2008 roku. Ich debiutancki album Guns Don't Kill People...Lazers Do ukazał się 16 czerwca 2009 r. Promowały go single „Hold the Line”, „Pon de Floor” i „Keep It Going Louder”. W lipcu 2010 r. ukazała się ep-ka Lazers Never Die zawierająca dwa nowe utwory - „Sound of Siren” i „Good Enuff”. Ep-ka Original Don, będąca wynikiem współpracy z The Partysquad, została wydana w listopadzie 2011 r. Skład opuścił Switch, a jego miejsce zajęli Jillionaire i Walshy Fire. W 2012 roku ukazały się single „Get Free”, w którym zaśpiewała Amber...
Four different groups have performed under the name Major:
Major(Bosnia and Herzegovina) Major is a new wave band formed in Sarajevo, BiH in 1986. The original lineup consists of Darko Jelisić, Boris Sofronić, Igor Legat, Miroslav Mijanović and Aleksandar Samardžija. Other participating musicians include: Braco Šolaja/artist], Neven Miseljić, Bojan Popović, Faris Arapović, Đani Pervan, Alan Omerović, Saša Bjelica, Igor Milanović, Rade Grahovac and Almir Lemeš.
Major published their first and only album "Son late zigi daj" in 1989. Their second album, "A pa pa", was never published due to war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
