Grupa Limp Bizkit powstała w Jacksonville na Florydzie. Na początku było to trio The Bizkit, które tworzyli: Frederick William Durst (wokalista, tekściarz), Sam Rivers (basista) oraz John Otto (perkusista). W 1994 dołączył do nich: Wes Borland (gitarzysta). Wtedy właśnie powstali Limp Bizkit. Pewnego pięknego dnia do Jacksonville zawitała mało wtedy znana kapela KoRn. Plimp was born in 1999 when the unrelated Adam and Martin met in high school, attempted to form a Smiths tribute band but very quickly realised the songs were too difficult to replicate.
