While no official release were marketed prior to 2005, the original idea for Violet UK had already been thought off in early 1997 before X Japan disbanded. Yoshiki planned on releasing the first album in 2002. Unfortunate incidents (hide's death) and his general obsession with perfection pushed back that release date. Blue Tears is a hard rock band from Jackson, Tennessee that enjoyed some short-lived fame in the late-80s. However, the band was then basically ignored due to the wave of alternative/grunge music and the members got involved in other projects. However, the band resurfaced in 2006 with a new album.
