Maybeshewill to post-rockowy zespół z Leicester w Wielkiej Brytanii. Muzykę tworzoną przez Maybeshewill charakteryzuje połączenie gitarowego post-rocka z elementami elektroniki oraz wykorzystywanie sampli z filmów. Zespół założony został w 2005r. przez gitarzystów Robina Southby'a i Johna Helpsa. Po kilku miesiącach wspólnego grania wraz z basistą Tanya Brynem oraz perkusistą Lawrie Malenem wydali swoją debiutancką EPkę "Japanese Spy Transcript". The Maybellines started in the fall of 1998, solidified when Julie Dorough agreed, over large plates of hummus and tabouli at a local Syrian restaurant, to sing on a project that drummer Al Adams and guitarist Mike Levasseur were working on.
