Michihiro Kuroda (黒田倫弘), or "Rin" to his fans, was born in Kyoto in 1972. While still in secondary school, he was the singer in a tribute band for the band UNICORN. After graduating a technical school as an architect, he moved to Tokyo pursuing an opportunity in music scene. While working in a karaoke bar, he recorded a demo tape which made its way to Daisuke Asakura/浅倉大介. In 1996, he became the lead vocalist in the Japanese group Iceman.
