Beastie Boys, amerykańska grupa tworząca muzykę hip hop. Powstała w 1979 w Nowym Jorku. Choć w swych początkach grupa grała hardcore punk, w 1983 zmieniła styl na rap, bo fani w listach do zespołu nazywali ich "marną kopią Minor Threat". W 1985 grupa zdobyła popularność gdy odbyła trasę z Madonną, która promowała płytę Like A Virgin. Ciekawostką jest, że wszyscy członkowie grupy pochodzą z żydowskich rodzin, wywodzących się z amerykańskiej klasy średniej.
