With roots stemming from Virginia Beach, direction from producer Leon Sylvers III, education in instrumental composition and the desire to succeed. Music is only the surface for a dream hidden behind inked pages and elaborate concepts driven from Las Vegas recording artist Marion Write. An American musician of Filipino decent, Marion was born in the late 80′s to Val & Maria Esguerra. Having started his love for music early only evolved his passion to be aggressive as he grew older. Investing in his own music group in 2006 called Flo Deep, 6 years later Write is preparing to release his first album, Illustrated Example, under his own company backed by a catalogue of mixtapes with his first release in 2009. Since that time, Write has established a solid following in his own city with notable performances at House of Blues (Mandalay Bay), Revolution Lounge (The Mirage), The Beauty Bar Las Vegas chapter and more. Performing alongside MC’s such as Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, Mobb Deep, Evidence of Dilated Peoples, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon and more.

Illustrated Example holds 16 original compositions with unorthodox arrangements layered with Write’s forte in story-telling. “I finally decided to get personal on these records, there’s a song that elaborates on every emotion that we all have experienced.” he explains. Write attempts to capture his audience by simple yet catchy rhyme schemes blended with instrumentals that could tell his stories without words. “Nothing is missing, or over cluttered. Song content per song is covered, music and beats have variety. This cd has worldwide appeal.” says executive producer L. Sylvers III. IE, sets the bar for a lot of albums being produced out of Las Vegas.

Marion Write fills his plate for 2012, working on a new LP with his producer DJ Finyl, collectively known as ‘The Greater Good’, set to release this year as well. Write will also venture into new business affairs being the Marketing Director for ‘Blank Canvas’, an arts lounge conceived by his project manager Carmen Castro. .
