1) Charlotte "Lotta" Kristiansen (born 28 june 1997) is a singer and actor from Tromøy, Norway. She had the main part of a set of Annie made in Norway in 2008. After winning a contest at the Kristiansand zoo she won 100 000 NKR which she used to release her first album, "Min Egen Stil" 15 june 2009. The album led to a record deal at Sony Entertainment. Lotta's second album "Bevis At Du Tør" was released 27 may 2011. She wrote all but three of the songs herself and the album covers themes like being young in love and cyber bullying.

2) Lotta Jääskelä is a Finnish - 23 year old singer and songwriter from a quaint little town called Raahe. Lotta composed and wrote her first song in English (without knowing how to write the melody in notes) at the age of 14 and did her first gig after her mother talked her into playing and singing Suzanne Vega’s Luka in public in a little restaurant in Raahe. During the years 2002 and 2003 she started making solo-performances singing her own songs and playing the piano. Lotta’s songs and her voice attracted the attention of three international record companies, however Lotta decided to wait until she was a little older, experienced and more prepared before committing herself.

In 2004 Lotta’s idea for her own concert started to develop and she wanted to create a real acoustic band. With the help of her father she found five talented musicians and very soon after the successful concert three of the players continued and ‘Lotta & The Band’ was born.

Up until 2004 Lotta had reached a climax in “her career” by making an appearance in the Pori Jazz – festival and right after the big gig she headed off to spend some time in Germany. Lotta returned home the next Christmas so the playing with the band continued during the next spring.

A year later, the guitarist left the band and after three months of searching a new guitarist was found from Oulu. Lotta herself moved to Oulu when she started to study to be a music teacher at Oulu University. The name - ‘Lotta & The Band’ was changed to just ‘Lotta’ as the band signed a contract with Texicalli Records in September 2006.

During spring 2007 the band prepared Lotta’s debut album, which contains 10 songs by written by Lotta Jääskelä and it came out in October 2007. Along with the original four band members they completed and put the finishing touches to the album with the help of some talented Finnish musicians. .
