Shoepop, a portmanteau of Shoegaze and Dream Pop, refers to a more pop-oriented style of Shoegaze, which still maintains the atmosphere and "Wall of Sound" (not to be confused with actual Wall of Sound Production), while integrating poppier hooks and melodies.
It is sometimes also known as Dreamgaze, however the term Shoepop is preferred on the basis that it is superior in all ways. .
