The Plague Monkeys are a four piece band from Dublin, Ireland. They are Carol Keogh (vocals), Donal O' Mahony (guitars, keyboards and mandolin), Barry Roden (bass) and Thomas Haugh (drums, percussion and keyboard). They formed in December 1995, and released an independent demo EP "People And Machinery" just before the New Year. The musical world inhabited by The Plague Monkeys is the same evocative place that one might find, say a Mazzy Star or Mary Margaret O'Hara. Try to imagine The Velvet Underground jamming with the Cocteau Twins and you begin to get an impression of this group. .
Based out of Whittier, California, a suburb of Los Angeles, Plague Vendor are a punk band who harness their nervy, nocturnal energy into their driving sound. Made up of singer Brandon Blaine, guitarist Jay Rogers, bassist Michael Perez, and drummer Luke Perine, the band's sound blends the urgency of early post-punk with the reckless attitude of hardcore, creating a style that squirms with nervous energy while it refuses to sit still. In 2014, the band signed on with the legendary punk label Epitaph, where they released their concise debut, Free to Eat, in the spring of that year. Recorded over...

Upon completion, Dertah returned to Vanquished as E.P. began the quest for a permanent bassist. After some time they came upon their missing link, a lost spirit by the name of Unborn. Empyrean Plague was now complete. In late 2003...
Many bands go by the name “The Plague”: (1) A 1960s garageband from Canada, known for the song “Face of Time”. (2) A 1970s art/rock band from New Zealand. In 1977 Richard von Sturmer returned from England, according to The Mechanics of Popular Music, “charged with the new punk movement that flourished there. He assembled a troupe of ‘actors’ and they rehearsed a series of theatre/music pieces revolving around his poetry and showmanship. The called themselves The Plague.” They used material from Inside Information; songs such as “Frank Gill’s an Idiot” and “Private Property”. (3) An English punk rock band...
