1. The Fairytale formed in February 1967 in Warrington, UK. The founder members were: John Weston, Malcolm Rabbitt, Chiddy Penketh, Billy Fog and John Ryan. John Ryan left the group in March 1967. The band were managed by Pete Rigby and Chris Culleton. The band split in January 1968. 2. Orphan Fairytale is the solo project for experimental musician Eva van Deuren, of Antwerp, Belgium. Van Deuren is a founding member of several groups including Frozen Corpse and Hardline Elephants, both with Carlo Steegen of Audiobot fame. Her debut album Problems In Paradise was released in 2005. .
