Heliosphere is Minneapolis-based group that combines aggressive beats and club-worthy synths with an always impressive live performance to produce the Twin Cities' premiere Industrial/EBM act. Heliosphere members are William Bates, Andrew Davies, and Rob Ziarkowski. Helios Creed (born November 3, 1953 in Long Beach, California) is an American guitarist, singer and bandleader. He first came to prominence in the mid 1970s with the San Francisco band Chrome, afterwards establishing a solo career. After Chrome, Creed released his first solo album, X-Rated Fairy Tales, in 1985. Raised in rural Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Keith started playing drums, guitar and bass and played in a variety of touring bands, from rock to jazz and classical. He was finally drawn to study percussion at Boston's Berklee College of Music. He took a keen interest in independent film, world cinema, and filmscore. Helioss was born in early 2009 when Nico (guitar, bass, programming) decided to create a new musical project, more extreme than the ones he'd created until now. Inspired by Dimmu Borgir, Mirrorthrone and Anorexia Nervosa, but by classical and baroque music as well, he began to write songs. Then he asked Pierre (vocals) from Dividead to work with him. Heliosaga fuses multiple sub-genres into a cohesive and focused sound. Rooted in a European style, Heliosaga combines elements of power, symphonic, and progressive metal to create an emotional and moving atmosphere culminating with powerful classical female vocals.
