The White Buffalo is American musician and singer-songwriter Jake Smith (born in Oregon in 1974/1975, and raised in California). Short-lived ensemble headed by Luc de Vos of Gorki, who dropped his usual Dutch-spoken songs and started singing in English. The band's name was taken from a song by The Sheila Divine, of whom de Vos was a great admirer. Together with Axl Peleman (Ashbury Faith, Camden, Angelico), Reinert d'Haene (Ashbury Faith, Yum) and Matthias Van der Hallen (Ashbury Faith) de Vos released an EP in early 2001 and a full album ("Party People") later that same year. A live tour was held, and after that de Vos returned working back on his main band. .

The Buffalo Bills were a barbershop quartet formed in Buffalo, New York. In 1950, they won the SPEBSQSA International Quartet Contest, earning them the title of International Quartet Champions.
