This drum group has proven to be one of the most powerful drum groups on the powwow trail today. They have captivated powwow arenas from coast to coast with their unique original style of singing. Coming from the twin cities of Minnesota, they have taken numerous singing championships along with various host drum jobs at some of the most prestigious powwow in Indian Country. The majority of their songs are considered "straight" songs. However, they have been known to sing some word songs from time to time. .

Midnite is a crucial roots reggae band hailing from St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. The band's music follows in tradition with the legendary roots reggae bands of 1970s Jamaica. The lyrical portions of Midnite's compositions are characterized as the "chant and call" style which gives their music a spiritually intense and overtly Rastafarian feel.
