The Clarks are an American rock band from the Pittsburgh area. Over the course of twenty years they have produced a total of 12 studio, live, and solo releases. Primarily being a regional band, a major highlight for the group and their fans was a musical appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman. On June 21, 2005, they released their first "Best Of" compilation, Between Now and Then.

Returning We Hear the Larks was the Progressive Metal solo project of Jack Noble, a student from Bristol, UK from 2006 to 2013. The name is taken from the poem by Isaac Rosenberg.
