“Music is the air I breathe, and it infuses my being anywhere I go”, said DJ OSVALDO (formerly DJ O'OS) of his experiences in Indonesia, Singapore, and China.

Having rocked parties all over Indonesia and become a household name for partygoers at some of the finest clubs in Jakarta (Embassy, Wonderbar, Vertigo, Centro), the move to China in 2006 only proved that nothing is beyond the limit for this modern-day virtuoso. Performances in Beijing (Vics, M2 Club, Club D, Highland, Cuboo, The Bank, Manmax), Jinan, and Hongkong (Buddha Lounge, Ling, Yamla) are seen only as the beginning of greater things.

Building on his drum n’ bass basics, DJ OSVALDO has since built on his talent and skills to incorporate techno, trance, and progressive beats into his distinctive sound, thus creating a growingly-popular, head-bobbing, fist-punching, body-twisting music for the dancing masses.

Currently DJ OSVALDO is working on his own material, with the possibility of one day releasing his own solo album. His single “Hi-Octane” (containing “Hi-Octane”, “Outbreak”, and “Living Things”) was released internationally by Zounds Bonzai Records (Belgium) in April 2008. This was then followed by the release of “White and Orange” (containing “White and Orange”, “Fairy Tales, and ”Few Days Ago”), also by Bonzai Records. Future singles, including ”Dezora” and ”Frontier Chill” are also scheduled to be released soon, while others are on the make and are presently being tested on Beijing’s dance floors.

At the same time, DJ OSVALDO remains true to his Indonesian roots and continues to establish a presence in his homeland through associations with 1945MF, the country’s leading dance music troupe, and by co-hosting TRANCESCAPADE’ online broadcast on Sense.FM. His recent single “Just One Nite” (with vocalist NV) has enjoyed plenty air time on Indika FM and is expected to be snapped up by a recording studio in the very near future.

Be also on the watch for DJ OSVALDO’s Olympics-themed, Chinese-infused, progressive tune called “Phoenix Arises”, due to be released in the near future.
