IXOHOXI | ms

Taking its name from that of a mathematical magic square, IXOHOXI was the ambient project of Dan Russo. Russo passed away on the 15th of January, 2007. IXOHOXI uses a variety of acoustic and electronic instruments from modern synthesizers, piano, and processed guitars to rain sticks and shakers. Creations are atmospheric and ethereal soundscapes often mixed with ambient sounds. Musical influences are diverse including classical impressionism, electronic space-music and ethnic/tribal rhythms. .
