Billy Talent is a Juno Award-winning Canadian rock band formed in 1993. They performed and recorded together for about a decade before finding a wide mainstream following. Originally called Pezz, the group originates from Streetsville, in Mississauga, Ontario, but now hail from Toronto, Ontario. The name is inspired by a character named "Billy Tallent" in the 1993 book "Hard Core Logo" by Michael Turner (filmed in 1996) and it has been the name of the band since 2001, after a dispute with the American Pezz. For over 7 years now, No Talent Necessary have been running the scene with their special blend of melodic punk rock. Each member of N.T.N. has been in other bands, and they use these experiences to fuel their creative energies and to bring it all together into one cohesive sound. Necessary Noize is Kenyan hip hop group originally composed of female MC/singer Nazizi Hirji, singer Kevin Wyre and rapper Bamzigi, though Bamzigi later left due to personal and label disputes. The group was formed in October 2000 and released their self-titled debut album in 2000 under Audio Vault Studios (now Blu Zebra), this contained the hits "Clang Clang," and "La Di Da.". The story so far.... No Talent were originally formed in early 2004. By that time, 6 kids in middle school decided to make a "cover band". Songs from Linkin Park, Hoobastank, Finch, Story of The Year, etc. were covered and done on many stages. These kids were Ichan, Dimas, Genta, Gianni, Daniel, and Jaka.
