There are at least 4 artists who go by the name of Darkside. 1) Collaboration between electronic musicians Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington. Their first release was an eponymous 3 track EP in 2011. The Darkside was originally formed by guitarist & vocalist Nick Hayden who had previously played drums for Spacemen 3. The band formed in the Spacemen's hometown of Rugby. Hayden then asked Pete Bain (AKA Bassman), who had left Spacemen 3 just before their 1989 LP Playing With Fire, to join the band. Bain was then joined in the new outfit by his former bandmate, drummer Sterling Roswell (AKA Rosco). The group debuted in 1990 with the E.P. Darkside Of The Force is made up of the half-brothers Oscar and Salvador along with DJ Breakneck. Right now they all live in Kristiansand, Norway. In 1998 they released their debut album "Darkside Of The Force", one of the most underrated Norwegian hip-hop albums of the 90s. On May 8th 2006, more than eight years after their debut, they released the follow-up "El Dia De Los Puercos". .
