Quix*O*Tic was a trio from Washington DC featuring Mick Barr on bass and sisters Mira & Christina Billotte on drums and guitars/vocals, respectively. They are generally lumped in with "indie rock", however the group achieved a rather distinctive stripped-down sound. More than one group has used the name 'Quixote'. 1) Quixote was a post-hardcore band from Kalamazoo, MI. Formed somewhere in 1996, the band featured Joel Wick of Jihad (bass), Tony Uminn (guitar) and Paul Wartella (drums). At some point Mike Gard stepped in to fill Paul's place behind the drum set.
