There is more than one band with this name:
1) SWIMS is a two-piece, bass and drums instrumental rock duo from Sacramento, CA. Featuring the unmatched 4-string bass tapping and strumming by Paul Slack coupled with the soulful, meaty drum beats of Mark Rocha.
2) Swims (formerly The Swims) are a psych/indie/pop band based out of Scranton, PA. Members include:
Brian Langain - vocals, guitar, synth, percussion
Claire Connelly - drums, vocals, percussion
Phillip Reynolds Price - farfisa organ, synth, theremin, vocals, percussion, piano
Matt Walsh - bass, vocals, guitar, percussion, a sandwich .
Swimsuit Issue are no longer- however in their beginnings some time ago in 2004 they would gig regularly at venues around London including The Garage, Buffalo Bar, Bloomsbury bowling lanes, Dublin castle, Hope and Anchor, Metro and Catch to name but a few. They never released any records but produced some fine demos most notably including Housefire and The Capital. .
