1) Social Club was a noisy pop band from San Jose CA 1985 - 1990. Influences included the Who, the Replacements and instrumental surf music.

Mike Donio - guitar and vocals
Mo Heringer - drums
Dave Schumacher - bass

1986 - 3 tracks "San Jose is Ground Zero" compilation
1987 - 1 track on "the Laundry Works - All Washed UP" compilation
1988 - "Flogging Peasants" album
1989 - 7 demo tracks that never got released



after the band broke up. Mike went on to play with the Frontier Wives, while John, Mo and Dave formed the Sugarbombs. In 2002, John and Mike joined up again and formed Lucky Dog, along with Kim, John's wife, and two former members of the Frontier WIves band, Mic and Lex
