Gentleman (⋆ as Tilmann Otto 1975 in Osnabrück, Germany) is a reggae musican. Gentleman resides in Cologne, but sometimes names Jamaica as his home away from home. He became hooked on his brother’s reggae records and thus wanted to get to know Jamaica first-hand. He has been traveling to Jamaica regularly since he was 16, and the island has become a second home for him. Gentlemans Pistols were formed in 2003 as a three-piece by singer/guitarist James Atkinson (formerly of UK hardcore group Voorhees, as well as current guitarist for The Horror and The Sex Maniacs), bassist Douglas McLaughlan and drummer Simon Mawson, although this line-up played only one gig before the replacement of Simon Mawson by Adam Clarke in 2004.
