2004年の活動を皮きりに1st mini album 「the scene」をリリース。そのカッティングエッジな感覚と絶妙なポップさがm-flo、Rip Slyme、i-dep、Mitsu The Beats、吉澤はじめらからも絶賛される中、HMV、Towerレコードなどのチャートを賑わし話題になる。
HIP HOPのキャリアを持ち福富幸宏やRIP SLYME、ZEEBRA、Crystal Kay、KABUKI(GER)などとのコラボレーションでも活躍するGOKU。 Pentagon名義でUK国営放送BBC RADIO1のチャートにてtop10入りを果たしたWize。maryjoyからもリリースし、海外からの評価も高いamigo。 IRMA（ITA）からの厚い信頼を得るsaiko。
House, Nu Jazz, Hip Hop, Crossover, Drum & Bassなどジャンルの垣根を軽く飛び越え、"good music"をキーワードに集まったオリジナリティ溢れるsinger, creator達がcargo。
05'夏には2nd mini album「Super Freak」をリリース、好セールスを記録する中、IRMA[ITA]を代表するコンピレーション「sister bossa6」に参加、また同レーベルのItharama Koolaxのremixを担当した。
06年にはKing「The Cover job」、IRMA「Sister Bossa7」、aperitivo「aperitivo TOKYO」などのコンピレーションに収録された他、ブラジルのアーティストKALEIDOをプロデュース。 初のフルアルバム「Disc Odyssey」もi-tunesクラブチャート1位、HMVクラブチャートtop10を記録した。
’07年にはM-flo、Daishi Dance、Monday満ちる、Paris Match、Soul Source Productionらと参加したV.A.「Tokyo House Lovers」、またCubismo Grafico、中塚武、Claziquai Projectらと参加したDISNEY楽曲のカバーアルバム「LOVEBEAT DISNEY」も好評を博した。
ハウス/クラブシーンでヒットメイカーとしての地位を確立しつつあるcargoだが、m-floファミリーとして知られるRyohei、そしてIrma アーティストのJENI FUJITA、KALEIDOの楽曲もプロデュースするなど、その時代を反映したプロデュースワークにもオファーの耐えない中、ついに待望の2nd Album「Jewel」をリリース、i-tunesのダンスチャートで１位を記録。先行12inchはIRMAからリリースし、DMRの総合チャートで１位を記録するなど、話題には事欠かない。
また9月にはIRMA/V.A.「Sister Bossa8」、10月にはHMV企画のV.A.「next floor」にfreeTEMPO、STUDIO APARTMENT、i-depらと、またGrand GalleryのV.A.「New Wave」にはColdfeet、Akakage、A Hundred Birdsらと、同じくGrand GalleryのV.A.「Tokyo Luxuary Lounge 3」にはDAISHI DANCE, STUDIO APARTMENT、i-depらと参加するなど今後の活躍からも目が離せない状況が続いている。 .

Strange Cargo is the title of a series of albums by british electronic artist/producer William Orbit. By the fourth installment, Hinterland, it became the artist name.
The sound of these albums could be best described as 'trademark Orbit'. Typically a song would have electronic beats and sound effects, mixed in with atmospheric ambient touches and guitar playing.
