宇都宮隆：ボーカル。
木根尚登：ギター・キーボード・作詞・作曲・コーラス・ハーモニカ等を担当。
小室哲哉・宇都宮隆・木根尚登から成るジャパニーズポップス/ロックバンド。
宇都宮と木根は同級生であり、地元でSPEEDWAYというバンドのメンバーであった。その後、別の高校で注目を集めていた小室と宇都宮・木根でユニットを組む。
名称は「タイムマシンネットワーク」を表すとされるが、３人の出身地である「多摩」もダブルミーニングされている。これは多摩地区からTMに続くミュージシャンが出てほしいという願いも込めたものとされている。
結成後1983年「フレッシュサウンズコンテスト」で優勝、Epic/Sony Recordsと契約。しかしスターダムにのし上がるにはさらに10枚のシングルを待たなければならなかった。「Get Wild」でブレイク、その後1990年のリニューアル宣言でTMNに改称。1994年５月に一度活動を休止する。
しかし1999年の復活後は１～２年単位で活動と休止を繰り返している。
音楽性は一般的にシンセサイザーを多用したエレクトリックポップ。但し小室の嗜好に強く影響される。アルバムごとに異なる音楽性を持ち、ハードロックやハウス、トランス、プログレッシブロックなども披露されている。 .

Michael Ricciardella (drums, vocals) and Richie Cerniglia (guitar) were both in the late 60s heavy psychededlic band The Illusion. They were also both in the short-lived hard rock band 'Wiggy Bits' just before Network, which recorded one album.
2) The_Network (Network) is a hardcore/grindcore band from New Hampshire. After signing to Black Market Activities, they released their debut full length "This Is Your Pig's Portrait" on January 23, 2007. The rest is history being written.

Shambala Networks is a solo musical project, the first ambient moniker of Oliver Dombi, who was born in Transylvania, on Christmas evening in 1981. In the first part of the 90s Oliver was mostly influenced by Metal and Hardcore music, later also influenced by Psychedelic Trance and Ambient.
