Temposhark are an English electronic rock band, formed in London, UK and Brighton by singer and songwriter Robert Diament. Temposhark are best known for their songs Bye Bye Baby, Joy, It's Better To Have Loved and Not That Big, a duet with singer Imogen Heap, which is featured on their 2008 debut album The Invisible Line. Other notable artist collaborations include Guy Sigsworth, Sean McGhee, Youth (aka Martin Glover from Killing Joke), Kate Havnevik and the virtuoso violinist Sophie Solomon. The Tempos are known for their hit recording of the classic ballad “See You in September”. It reached #23 on the Billboard charts in 1959 and enjoyed renewed popularity in 1973 when it was featured in a hit movie and a hit soundtrack album. Mike Lazo, Gene Schacter, and Bobby Vinton formed a singing trio The Hilites in 1954 that performed at local records hops. It all started in the beginning of 2003, when Andre, the drummer, met Alex, the guitar player. Both wanted to make a tribute to one of their favorite bands: The Clash. They then decided to invite Andre's cousin, Teresa, to play bass.
