Cyclist is the solo moniker for Winnipeg based musician/producer Mark Penner. After spending most of his life making dance music in bands such as Moses Mayes and LeBeato, Mark started producing his own tracks and DJing in 2009. Cyclist's music is influenced by the early 80's era of underground dance music, when proto-house and electro were rising from the ashes of disco. Updating this sound with modern production techniques and adding live guitar, bass and analog synths makes Cyclist's music fresh and infectious. Street Smart Cyclist was an emo/math rock band from the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. SSC was composed of Jon Geeting on guitar, Ross Brazuk on guitar, John Galm on vocals (replaced briefly by Jonathan "Cody" Garwacke of Yo Man, Go!), Nate Dionne on bass, and Dave Geeting on drums.
