バンド名「NICO Touches the Walls」は光村がよろめいて壁に触れた時に、壁に触れるという行為は壁の向こうにある世界、日常から新しい世界を創造するというイメージにつながり、バンド名に由来。

2004年
4月、光村龍哉（Vo&Gt）・古村大介（Gt）・坂倉心悟（B）でバンドを結成。同年7月に対馬祥太郎 （Dr）が加入。YAMAHAのTEEN'S MUSIC FESTIVAL2004に出場し、優勝に準ずる賞を獲得。
2005年
2月より5ヶ月間、柏ZAXと、渋谷CHELSEA HOTELにてマンスリーライブを行う。
2006年
1月8日、下北沢club 251「成人前夜」（ワンマンライブ）を行い、音源未発表にもかかわらず250人を動員。 2月2日、1st mini Album『Walls Is Beginning』を発売。8月にはROCK IN JAPAN Fes.、SUMMER SONIC等の夏フェスに出演。10月18日、2nd mini Album『runova x handover』リリース。
2007年
1月1日、「rockin'on presents“COUNTDOWN JAPAN 06/07」に出演。 6月13日、Primitive-disc 『Eden』をリリース（初回生産枚数限定盤）。6月、大阪・東京にて初のツアーを行う。11月21日、New mini ALBUM 『How are you?』をKi/oon Recordsからリリースしメジャーデビュー。
2008年
2月20日、Major Debut Single『夜の果て』リリース。4月、東・名・阪にて「NICO Touches the Walls TOUR2008 ～ナハトムジーク～」を開催。恵比寿リキッドルームを含めチケット即日SOLD OUT。8月13日、3rd Single『Broken Youth』リリース（アニメ「NARUTO -ナルト- 疾風伝」EDテーマ）。9月24日、1st Full Album 『Who are you?』リリース。11月～12月、初の全国ツアー「NICO Touches the Walls TOUR2008 Bon voyage,Etranger」を開催。全公演チケット即日SOLD OUT。12月29日 「rockin'on presents COUNTDOWN JAPAN 08/09」に出演。10,000人を動員。
2009年
6月、東・名・阪にて「NICO Touches the Walls LIVE2009 All,Always Walls vol.3 ～Turkeyism～」を開催。初の野外ライブを日比谷野外大音楽堂で行い、3,000人を動員。立見も含めてSOLD OUT。8月12日、5th...

Damon Palermo has been making adventurous house and disco music under the moniker Magic Touch since August 2011.
