KinKi Kids（キンキキッズ）は、ジャニーズ事務所所属の堂本光一、堂本剛の2人で構成される男性アイドルデュオである。
1992年結成。 略称「キンキ」・「KinKi」。北京語名「近畿小子」。 所属レコード会社はジャニーズ・エンタテイメント
ジャニーズ事務所にとって、初のデュオ、初の近畿地方出身のグループ、など何かと初が多い。2人とも同じ1979年生まれだが、学年（学齢）としては光一が1月1日生まれの早生まれ、剛が4月10日生まれの遅生まれなので、光一は1年上の1978年である。また、2人の姓は「堂本」と同じだが血縁関係はなく、全くの他人である。
テレビ番組や雑誌などでよく「Kinki Kids」と表記されている場合があるが、正しくは「KinKi Kids」で、「K」は全て大文字である（参考記事）。また、KinKiという単語は英語圏ではKinky（変態）に語感が似ているため、しばしば誤解される。
イメージカラーは、光一が赤、剛が青。コンサートで使用するマイクには、持ち手の部分がそれぞれのカラーにされている。
デビュー当時、事務所が決めた2人のイメージカラーは光一が青、剛が赤だったが、活動を重ねるうちに上記のように、イメージカラーが入れ替わった。
ファンクラブの会員番号は、1番が光一、2番が剛である。

浜崎貴司(vo)が聴かせる力強くソウルフルな歌唱は、
当時の日本の音楽シーンでは非常に珍しく、
今にして思えば後のR&Bシンガー・ムーヴメントを先取りしていた感さえある。
また、伸びやかなメロディを作り出すセンスも抜群で、
初期にはファンク・ミュージックを前面に出した曲を中心に、
94年頃からは「恋の瞬間」「風の吹き抜ける場所へ」
「とまどいの時をこえて」等ポップ路線を取り入れていく。
その後も「暗闇でキッス～Kiss in the darkness～」
「ディスカバリー」などのスマッシュ・ヒットを連発していたが、
98年2月に惜しまれつつ解散。
その後、浜崎はソロ・アーティストとして精力的な活動を続け、
MCUとのスペシャル・ユニット、マツリルカを結成。
また、小峰理紗とのデュオ・ユニット、ハマザキコミネとしても活動を広げていく。
そして07年8月、『RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL 2007 in EZO』にて
オリジナル・メンバー6人で男だらけのFLYING KIDSが再集結。
09年4月に復活シングル「ドマナツ」を発売、
9月には実に12年ぶりとなる待望のオリジナル・アルバム『エヴォリューション』をリリース。 .
