SAKURA（さくら、1971年11月23日 - ）は、主に関西を拠点に活躍する女性歌手。スイス生まれ。 11月23日スイス生まれ。14歳でアコギを弾きはじめジョニ・ミッチェル、キャロル・キングなどアコースティックなものにもハマる。湾岸戦争まっただ中でヒッピータウン、シアトルに留学。ストリートでブルースを歌う。帰国後、オリジナルを書きためるかたわら、R&B、ソウル系の数々のユニット結成。時にはニューヨークのセッションやレコーディングにも参加する等、実践によって経験を重ねていく。Bounce Recordsよりミニアルバム『SAKURA』、1997年には『All Brand New』(No Music, No Life)をリリースと、インディーズで順調に実績を伸ばし同年、東芝EMIよりメジャー・デビュー。東芝EMI在籍中、8枚のアルバムを発表している。2003年に関西弁で歌う「LOVE 4 REAL」がOSAKAN HOT 100の1位に輝いた。2006年にメジャーから独立し、自身で活動を始める。2006年にはDef Techのツアーに参加し、「いのり」という曲で「Def Tech武道館 Live DVD」に出演。同年にインディーズからシングルをリリース。手売りで1万枚を売る。2007年ユニバーサルミュージックへ移籍、 Microが設立した新レーベルPRIMARY COLOR RECORDZに参加するが、2008年再びインディペンデントで独立し活動を始める。 空（そら）という息子がいる。 シアトルに留学時、地元の学生らと反戦運動に参加しており、現在の活動にも影響を及ぼしている。 2002年、生活の拠点を神奈川県逗子市に移す。 4年間の別居生活を経て、2005年9月に離婚。息子の空と実家のある神戸市に引っ越す。 「LOVE 4 REAL」のほか、「虹へのプレリュード」でも関西弁を披露している。 .

Noriyuki Asakura (kanji: 朝倉紀行) (February 11, 1954) is a Japanese music composer. He is famous for composing the soundtracks to the anime series Rurouni Kenshin and the popular video game franchises Tenchu and Way of the Samurai.
