While no official release were marketed prior to 2005, the original idea for Violet UK had already been thought off in early 1997 before X Japan disbanded. Go Violets were an Australian indie-pop band from Brisbane, Queensland. The band was formed in 2011, and consisted of vocalist/guitarist Phoebe Imhoff, guitarist/drummer Alice Rezende, bassist Harriette Pilbeam and drummer/guitarist Ruby McGregor.
