Wrath of the Weak is a black metal solo project of a man known as 'J' from Buffalo, New York formed in 2004. He first released a sampler CD-R in 2006, which featured material from the self titled full-length that was released on the noise label Bastardised a few months later. エッジ・オブ・サニティ(Edge of Sanity)はスウェーデン出身のバンド。メロディック・デス・メタル（メロデス）の誕生・発展に多大な貢献を果たした。エステルイェータランド県フィンスポングにて、1989年結成。 基本的には五人組だが、アルバム中の曲ごとに、楽器を担当しているメンバーが異なるものもあるなど、ほかのバンドとは異なる活動の形態を採っていた。そのため、中心人物のダン・スワノさえいればエッジ・オブ・サニティは成り立つ、との見方が一般的である。ただし、スワノが参加していないアルバム、楽曲も存在する。 メロデスに分類されつつも、現在の「メロデス」とは一線を画すバンドである。ダン・スワノの音楽的実験の場として活用されてきたためだろう。 1989年11月にレコーディングスタジオを所有するダン・スワノ(Vo)とそのスタジオを使っていた人を中心に結成。1990年に、Black Mark Productionsと契約。1991年に1stアルバム『Nothing But Death Remains』をリリースしデビュー。その後も、デモをリリースしつつ、2ndアルバム『Unorthodox』、3rdアルバム『The Spectral Sorrows』をリリースする。1994年にリリースされた、4thアルバム『Purgatory Afterglow』で、ビクター・エンタテインメントから日本盤がリリースされ、日本デビューを果たす。このとき、1stから3rdアルバムまでのアルバムも日本盤がリリースされた。そして、1996年に40分以上に及ぶ超大作“Crimson"1曲のみで構成された問題作、5th『Crimson』がファンから総スカン食らい1997年リリースの6thアルバム『Infernal』からは再び軌道修正を図り、やり過ぎ大作主義から一転、何れもコンパクト且つストレートにまとめられ、Keyやアコギ等の凝った装飾を排したアレンジも、至ってシンプルな作風に変わっていった。その後も、破壊的な音色で刻まれる図太いリフ&リズムが強調された作風になっている。また、6thアルバムは、各楽曲ごとに奏者がクレジットされており、各楽曲ごとに関わっている人が異なっている[1][2]。しかし、同年中に音楽的意見の相違によってダン・スワノは脱退してしまう。その代わりに、ロバート・カールソンがボーカリストとして参加しして、同1997年に、7thアルバム『Cryptic』をリリースしている。 その後、1999年前後に解散。2003年にダン・スワノによって再結成。再結成とはいっても、メンバーは、ダン・スワノ一人である。同年に、8thアルバム『Crimson II』をリリース。同アルバムでは、基本的には、すべてのパートをダン・スワノ一人が担っている。また、ボーカリスト2人とギタリスト2 人がゲストで参加している。アルバムタイトルから分かるように、問題作とされた、5thアルバム『Crimson』に通じる作品で、前述の"Crimson"を超える、43分の超大作"Crimson II"1曲で構成されている。ただし、今作では、その1曲を9つのパートにわけ、それを更に1トラック2分未満に分割して収録しており、44トラックで 43分というアルバムになっている。同年中に、再び解散した。 最終メンバー * ダン・スワノ Dan Swanö - ボーカル・ギター・ベース・キーボード・ドラム (1989 - 1997, 2003) マルチプレイヤーであり、担当楽器はアルバムや楽曲ごとに違う。音楽プロデューサーとしても活動しており、結成当時フィンスポングにスタジオを所有していた。同スタジオは、その後エッジ・オブ・サニティ活動中に、オレブロ県エーレブルーに移転している。 過去のメンバー * ロバート・カールソン Robert Karlsson - ボーカル (1997 - 1999) インキャパシティでも活動していた。スカー・シンメトリーで活動中。 * サミ・ネルバーグ Sami Nerberg - ギター (1989 - 1999) 6thアルバム『Infernal』には不参加。 * アンドレアス・ドレッド・アクセルソン Andreas "Dread" Axelsson - ギター (1989 - 1999) 3rdアルバム『The Spectral Sorrows』では、ベースも兼任した。マーダック、インキャパシティではボーカリストとして活動していた。 * アンダース・リンドバーグ Anders Lindberg - ベース (1989 - 1999) 3rdアルバム『The Spectral Sorrows』では、兵役の関係で参加できなかった。 * ベニー・ラーソン Benny Larsson - ドラム (1989 - 1999) .

Evil Wrath was formed by Nekros and Morbid in early 2005, to spread a vile message of hatred towards humanity and to create raw and unholy music.
