In 2008 the band announced that they were splitting up. 3) A grunge band from Anacortes, Washington with 2 albums out on Estrus Records and 7" singles on K Records and Knw-Yr-Own. 4) A polish metal band, later renamed Tryton www.last.fm/music/Tryton .
Started in the late 80's in New Haven, CT. They released two "Demo" tapes. The first in 1989 which was self titled and the second in 1992 titled "The Shark Long Player" the second had a re-recording of the song "Focusing on one specific goal and achieving it" from the first demo. The 1989 demo had a great cover of "See Emily Play" by Pink Floyd and is still to this day one of the best releases Connecticut has ever seen. Graveland are a Polish pagan black metal band which was formed in 1992 by Rob Darken (born Robert Fudali). The lyrics of Graveland are strongly Viking metal—inspired by nature, darkness, battles/war, Paganism, Celtic beliefs, Heathenism, Norse mythology, and Slavic mythology. Darken, who started Graveland as a solo project in 1992, was influenced by bands such as Bathory and Emperor. He recorded the first demos, Necromanteion and Drunemeton, working alone. In 1993, drummer Maciej "Capricornus" Dąbrowski joined the band, which then recorded In the Glare of Burning Churches. David Gravell has been producing for many years already with successes on labels like Armada Music, Mainstage Music, Musical Madness, Pinkstar, Mixmash and more. Though, he made his W&W debut on Mainstage Vol. 1 in 2012 with his track 'Fire Away'.
