Henk Klop | ja

Born 4 August 1915, Chicago, Illinois, Died 31 March 1979, Canoga Park, California. One of the masterminds behind that mix of music and sound effects in 1960s commercials that's since embedded itself deep in our subconscious. Henke got his start as a pianist, working in small combos in clubs. He worked in radio and television after World War II. In 1955, he joined the television department at Disney, where he composed most of their commercials and for a few television series. Unlike many musicians who dismissed commercial work as hack work, Henke took to the format immediately, and he was...
Henk Badings (17th January 1907 - 26th June 1987) was a Dutch composer. Born in Bandung (Java), he studied mining technology at the University of Technology in Delft, received his degree cum laude in 1931 and worked at the university until 1937. In the meantime he developed his skills as a composer. He was also active with painting, sculpting and writing poetry. The only music lessons he followed were lessons in orchestration with Willem Pijper. Already in the same year of his graduation, his First Cello Concerto was performed in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, after which performances of other works...
Ome Henk (Henk Stubbe) is a Dutch main character in a series of comics, CDs and DVDs. Ome Henk was created by Frank van der Plas in the early nineties. Ome Henk and the other characters live in the fictional town "Biggeveen". Ome Henk is very anti-social: he likes to fight with and scream at the other inhabitants of Biggeveen. The songs are mostly parodies of other songs: Mambo Nummer 6 (original by Lou Bega "Mambo No. 5"), Op de Camping (original by Village People "In The Navy") en Neem een ander in de Maling (original by Aqua "Barbie Girl")...
Singer Robin McAuley (previously with Grand Prix) joined MSG for the album ''Perfect timing'' (1987) and stayed with them until the 1991 album ''MSG''. Surprisingly Schenker changed the band name from Michael Schenker Group to McAuley Schenker Group, proving that McAuley had a strong saying in the band. The sound of the band moved to more melodic hard rock from the edgier approach of the first MSG albums and actually this way they managed to deliver their finest works. ''Save yourself'' (1989) and ''MSG'' are regarded as Schenker's highlights with MSG, especially among melodic hard rock fans. With ''MSG'' they...

From 1978 to 1985 he was a member of the orchestra of the Bolshoi Theatre. With this world-famous orchestra and as a member of the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra from 1985 to 1989, he undertook numerous worldwide concert tours. Alongside with that he started...
