Born Japanese but raised in Queens, Koichiro "Kojoe" Sakata is an up and coming bilingual rapper based in Takasaki, Japan who attempts to draw a bridge between his experiences in Japan and the United States through thought-provoking lyrics. He debuted in 2004 with the album "MIXED IDENTITIES 1.0." His most recent album is "51st State" released on March 6, 2013. .
