Hailing from the same area as labelmates the Apers, Wiseguy started in 1996 as a punk rock outfit. Shaping into a hard rocking combo by the turn of the century, their Hellacopters-esque debut single was released by Stardumb Records in 2001. That single was followed by their only full length album 'Burning The Tracks' in 2003 and 3 songs on the Rock N Rolla Outta Controlla compilation (which was accompanying the Rock N Rolla tour with The Stilettos, 69 Charger, Black Rodeo and The Lulabelles) in 2004. ペニーワイズ（Pennywise）はエピタフ・レコードに所属するアメリカ合衆国のパンク・ロックバンド。ブラック・フラッグやサークル・ジャークス、マイナー・スレット、バッド・レリジョンなどに影響を受けたメンバーにより結成。社会への批判などメッセージ性の強い歌詞と、上記バンドからの影響の強い音楽性が特徴。2007年からMySpaceが運営するMySpace Recordsに移籍。バンド名の由来はスティーブン・キングの小説「IT」に登場するピエロの怪物「ペニーワイズ」から。 結成時のメンバーはジム・リンドバーグ、フレッチャー・ドラッグ、ジェイソン・サースク、バイロン・マクマキンの4人。1996年にジェイソンが脱退し、ランディ・ブラッドベリーがメンバーに加入。詳細は後述のメンバーの節を参照のこと。 2007年、約10年間在籍していたエピタフ・レコードからMySpace Recordsに移籍。移籍前と変わらず、現在もエピタフ・レコードとの親交は深い。 2009年8月21日、ジム・リンドバーグがペニーワイズからの脱退を表明。 2010年2月16日、Igniteのボーカリストであるゾリ・テグラスが新しくボーカルとして加入。 メンバー ゾリ・テグラス - Zoltán Téglás ボーカル担当。 フレッチャー・ドラッグ - Fletcher Dragge ギター担当。 ランディ・ブラッドベリー - Randy Bradbury ベース担当。 バイロン・マクマキン - Byron McMackin ドラムス担当。 旧メンバー ジム・リンドバーグ - Jim Lindberg ボーカル担当。 ジェイソン・サースク - Jason Matthew Thirsk ベース担当。1996年に脱退。脱退後まもなく酒に酔い自殺してしまい、メンバーはジェイソンの死を深く悲しんだ。彼が亡くなった翌年1997年にリリースしたアルバム『フル・サークル』の最後に収録されている「ブロー・ヒム・トリビュート」という楽曲は、ジェイソンにあてられたものである。彼らはライブの最後に決まってその曲を演奏する。これは彼らがジェイソンへの想いのためでもあるとされる。余談だが、『ブロー・ヒム』はアメリカ、NHLのアナハイム・ダックスやドイツ、ブンデスリーガのVfBシュトゥットガルトのゴールソングに選曲されたことがある。ちなみにジェイソンの実弟のジャスティン・サースクは「98ミュート」というバンドでドラムスを担当し、ペニーワイズの前座などでライブを行っていた。プロデューサーはフレッチャー・ドラッグである。 .

Wise Intelligent, is a rapper, producer and community activist. He was the front man for the legendary hip-hop group Poor Righteous Teachers, hailing from Trenton, New Jersey which released five albums, starting in 1990 and ending in 2001. Often referred to as PRT by its fans, Poor Righteous Teachers are known as pro-Black conscious hip hop artists, with musical content inspired by the teachings of the Nation of Gods and Earths. All throughout the nineties, Philadelphia, USA's EDGEWISE toiled and labored to make their assault of metallic hardcore prominent in the ears of east coast hardcore and metal kids. They toured constantly, including a stint with the then-unknown GREEN DAY. Somehow, the band never had a proper full length released domestically. They had some songs on comps and seven inches and the like, and a full length overseas, but no nationally distributed full length in North America.
