マキシマムザホルモン（MAXIMUM THE HORMONE）は、1998年に東京都八王子市にて結成された日本のロックバンド。略称として主に『ホルモン』や『MTH』が用いられる.

Erik Bullon starts as radio amateur ,in 1987 initiates tape experiments and sound collages of radio accidental recordings , short wave and other sources. In 1989 “Maximum Terrorem” begins with the aim of to do music with a modified recorder functioning as a multitrack, with this process all class of objects,contact microphones,tape loops,modified remote control etc. His sound was compared to those of the early era like the industrialist “S.P.K. ”, “Zoviet France” and “Premature Ejaculation” being the earliest project of industrial music ever known in Peru and southamerica. in the 2000 a cd was published compiling its works...

Bristol, England's Maximum Joy was formed in 1979 by Janine Rainforth and Tony Wrafter founder members and joined by John Waddington, Charlie Llewellin and Dan Catsis. Blending punk, funk,soul, reggae and jazz they melded their own unique post-punk sound.
