ハンス・ジマー（Hans Florian Zimmer , ハンス・フロリアン・ツィマー、1957年9月12日 - ）
ドイツ・フランクフルト出身の作曲家であり、映画音楽の制作で知られる。10代でイギリスに渡り、現在は妻スザンヌと4人の子供とともにロサンゼルス在住。
６歳の頃から音楽家を目指すようになり、1970年代に渡英。1980年代にイギリスの映画音楽作曲家スタンリー・メイヤーズと出会ったことがきっかけで作曲家へ転身。
1988年に「レインマン」でアカデミー賞作曲賞に初ノミネートされ、1994年には「ライオン・キング」でアカデミー賞作曲賞とゴールデン・グローブ賞音楽賞をダブル受賞。また、2001年には、『パール・ハーバー』でアカデミー音響賞など2部門を受賞した。 特に『ザ・ロック』の音楽は有名で、今でもテレビ番組やドキュメンタリーで用いられている。 作曲家グループ「リモートコントロール」（旧名:メディアベンチャーズ）を率いる。
作曲活動に加え、ドリームワークス映画音楽部門の代表も務める。

Brier played the role of Marcie Walsh McBain on ABC soap opera One Life to Live from October 18, 2002 until June 17, 2009. In 2004 her performance earned her a nomination for a Daytime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series."
