Plays keys instruments, synthesizer & piano. Former member of band Universitas. Became a member of Benkó Dixieland Band in 1961. He founded the Omega band with János Kóbor in 1962. Director of label Gong since 1992. - he won the main trophy of Yamaha Festival, Tokyo in 1970 - he won Bellaphon Award in 1978 - he won Liszt Ferenc Award in 1987 .

Diebenkorn is the side-project of producer/remixer Dementio13. Working solely on a laptop, away from the studio, Diebenkorn makes melodic electronic post-rock music. .

Benko formed in August 2003 with members of the Golden Arm Trio, Tosca Tango Orchestra and New Music Co-op. In late 2005 the band self-released a 7 song EP, "An International Affair", and are currently working on their first full length recording. The new 10 song LP should be completed by December 2007. .
