There is more than one artist with this name: (not to be confused with the late '70s British Mod group, The Jetset) 1. A Greek Garage/Punk Band 2. A German Rock Band 3. Dutch hardcore band 1. JetSet were actually formed around 1999 in Thessaloníki, GR, but past members, formations and work have been sent to limbo, with only the band name to remain. Jorge and LarryG, the two core members of the band, regave form to Jetset in 2003 along with Giannis Nikolaou on drums and Orestis Ziogos as a frontman. Formed in 1979 by teenage friends Paul Bevoir and Melvyn J. Taub,The Jetset were one of the oddest footnotes in British pop music history. They were loosely associated with the mod-revival of the late-70s, they took the revival one step further. Not only did they recreate the sounds of '60s pop but they also attempted to mirror the careers and myths of their idols with near-Rutles-esque, attempting a media blitz which included a proposed television series, Christmas greeting flexi-singles, comic strips, trading cards, and an array of fake Jetset-related products. JETSET’ER กลับมาอีกครั้งซึ่งแรงกว่าเดิม ประเดิมเปิดตัวในอัลบั้มชุดที่ 2 ชื่อชุด “NUDE” ภายใต้สังกัด ZYD Records (ซิด เรคคอร์ด) NUDE ในความหมายของ JETSET’ER คือการทำงานที่ตั้งใจอย่างสุดฝีมือและการได้แสดงความสามารถและเทคนิคต่างๆ ด้านดนตรี เพื่อให้ผู้ฟังได้ฟังอย่างหมดเปลือก เปรียบได้กับการเปิดเผยตัวตนและโชว์ผลงานเพลงที่ดีที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของ JETSET’ER มากที่สุด อัลบั้มนี้มีความแตกต่างจากผลงานในอัลบั้มชุดที่แล้วตรงสัดส่วนของดนตรีที่หนักแน่นขึ้น มีกลิ่นของดนตรี Funk บวกกับการนำเอา Electric Guitar มามีบทบาทมากขึ้น จึงทำให้ทุก ๆ เพลงในอัลบั้มนี้มีความชัดเจนมากกว่าเดิม นอกจากนั้นการทำงานในชุดนี้เน้นความสดใหม่ของ Idea เป็นหลักเพราะส่วนใหญ่จะอัดสด และบางเทคที่ใช้จริงเกิดขึ้นจากความบังเอิญในการอัดสดพร้อมๆ กัน ในส่วนของเนื้อหาคำร้องก็มีมุมที่แตกต่างซึ่งมีความน่าสนใจ และสะท้อนแนวคิดของคนรุ่นใหม่ได้อย่างลงตัว นอกจากนั้นในอัลบัมชุดนี้ได้มีเพื่อนๆ พี่ๆ มาร่วมงานกันอีกเช่นเคย อาทิ แทน ลิปตภัลลภ จาก Litpta มาช่วยเขียนเนื้อและทำนองในเพลง “ใจร้าย”, พี่พัชร มือคีย์บอร์ดจาก Happy d dog มาช่วยแจมในเพลง “ เปิดใจ”และยังได้พี่ตี๊ Venus มาช่วยร่วมเล่นเบสซึ่งเพิ่มสีสันให้ได้มากเลยทีเดียว ซิงเกิลแรก เพลง “ฝ่าไฟแดง (Radical)” เป็นแนวเพลงแบบ Disco Funk ที่แสดงถึงความคิดที่จะก้าวออกนอกกรอบของสังคม แต่ในมุมของ JETSET’ER นั้นถือเป็นการแหกกฏอย่างสร้างสรรค์ในเชิงดนตรี เช่นมีการนำเอาเครื่องเป่า (Brass Section) เข้ามาเพิ่มความหวือหวาและรายละเอียดให้กับเพลง นำ Sound ที่แปลกใหม่จาก Analog Synth มาใช้ และรวมไปถึงการเรียบเรียงเสียงประสานที่แตกต่างจากเพลงทั่วไป ซิงเกิลสอง เพลง “จูบ(kiss)” เป็นเพลงฟังสบายๆ แต่แฝงไว้ด้วยความโรแมนติก ในแบบ JETSET’ER โดยเพลงนี้มีดนตรีแบบ Disco pop ที่มีทำนองและการเดินเบสที่น่าสนใจแบบเพลงดิสโก แต่สำเนียงของดนตรีโดยรวม บวกด้วยเสียงของเครื่องเป่า ทำให้เพลงนี้มีบรรยากาศของเพลงป๊อปที่น่าฟังสบายอยู่ในตัว และมีความสนุกของดนตรีดิสโก เป็นสีสันให้เพลงดูน่าสนใจยิ่งขึ้น JETSET’ER is “T” พิพิธพล ขำรัตน์...
