NapsaQ (ナップサック) is a three-piece band formed by Mikuni Shimokawa(下川みくに), Hiroyuki Matsugashita (松ヶ下宏之), and Takayuki Ito (伊藤多賀之). They are distributed under Pony Canyon. To date, they have released one album on December 20, 2006 entitled NapsaQ~Seishun Song Request~ (NapsaQ〜青春ソングリクエスト). Shimokawa's upcoming single, Bird, include a song performed by the band. Skull Snaps was a funk group active between 1963 and 1973. Until 1970 they were known as The Diplomats, and released a number of singles with some success. Renamed Skull Snaps, they released an eponymous album on the small GSF label in 1973 before disappearing. Following the Skull Snaps sessions the group recorded a cover version of Manu Dibango's underground hit 'Soul Makossa', using the name All Dyrections, for the Budah label. Two years later they recorded one final single under the Skull Snaps name, 'Al's Razor Blade', with 'Ain't That Lovin' You' as a B-side, for Grill records. Skull...
