J Soul Brothers（ジェイ・ソウル・ブラザーズ）はかつて存在していた日本のダンスボーカルユニット。1ボーカル・4 パフォーマー（ダンサー）の形態で1999年に元ZOOのHIROを中心に結成された。その後、2001年にメンバーチェンジを経てEXILEに発展。 2007年、HIROプロデュースのもと新たなメンバーにより再結成、2ボーカル・5パフォーマーとなる。2009年3月1日よりEXILEに合流する形で、同名義での活動を終了した。 1999年、パフォーマーHIRO、MATSU、USA、MAKIDAIとボーカルSASAの5人でエイベックスよりデビュー、シングル3枚をリリースするも2001年にソロ活動のためにボーカルSASAが脱退した。入れ替わりに新ボーカルATSUSHI、SHUNが加入し、その後EXILEと改名、活動を続ける[1]。 2007年、突如新メンバー5人で「新生J Soul Brothers」としてEXILEのHIROプロデュースのもと活動開始することが告知され、8月4・5日 「EXILE LIVE TOUR 2007 "EXILE EVOLUTION" FINAL 〜SUMMER TIME LOVE〜」でその全貌が明らかにされた。ボーカルは「EXILE Vocal Battle Audition 2006 ～ASIAN DREAM～」出身のNESMITH、SHOKICHI、パフォーマーはKENCHI、KEIJI、TETSUYAであった。同年11月10日に行われた「COLOR LIVE TOUR 2007"BLUE"」で更にパフォーマーとしてNAOTOとNAOKIの2人が加入する。インディーズレーベルでシングルを4枚発売したのち、2009 年2月25日にアルバム『J Soul Brothers』でメジャーデビューした。 新生JSBは旧JSBやEXILEとは異なり、ボーカルもパフォーマーと共にダンスをする。 メジャーデビューアルバム、『J Soul Brothers』は、2月25日付のオリコンアルバムデイリーランキングで、1位を獲得した。 2009年3月1日よりメンバー全員がEXILEに加入することを発表。今後はJ Soul Brothers名義での活動は行わない旨も示された。 .
