There are multiple artists named Sedative: 1) Sedative is a grindcore band from Chamonix, France, formed in 2010. 2) Sedative, better known as Sedativ, was a duo formed by Roman Sidorov (mastermind of the somewhat cult Russian projects Старуха Мха, Der Golem, Fatal) and his wife Alya. The music of Sedativ falls within the drone / post-rock spectrum: mid-tempo guitar, atmospheric, melancholic, sparse and hypnotic sound.
