I moumoon esordiscono grazie all'etichetta discografica TRUE SONG fondata dall'ex-Do As Infinity Dai Nagao nel 2006: YUKA e Masaki pubblicano il singolo di debutto nel Luglio del 2006, "Flowers / pride" e a Settembre il primo mini-album, intitolato semplicemente "Flowers".
Nel 2007, grazie al consenso ottenuto con le produzioni indipendenti sotto la TRUE SONG riescono ad avere un contratto con la avex, che permette loro di pubblicare un nuovo mini-album, dalle atmosfere più pop-rock rispetto agli esordi: "love me?".
