Gli Arcadia sono una delle due band in cui i Duran Duran si frammentano nel corso del 1985. Il gruppo è formato da Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes e Roger Taylor. Il nome è scelto da Nick Rhodes, ispirato probabilmente da un dipinto di Poussin rappresentante una tomba con l'iscrizione "Et in Arcadia Ego". Un'altra interpretazione lo collegherebbe con il nome di un circolo letterario intitolato all'Arcadia, terra mitica di pastori dell'entroterra montuoso greco, e all'annessa accademia fondata a Roma nel 1690 che si richiamava, nelle sue produzioni poetiche, al tema pastorale degli idilli di Teocrito, alle Bucoliche di Virgilio...

Francisco José Arcángel Ramos (Huelva, 1977) is a Spanish Flamenco singer formerly known as Arcangel. He began in 1987, but he is not well known until 1998 with his participation in X Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla. From this moment, Arcangel sing for dance to famous dancers like Javier Barón, Eva Yerbabuena or Israel Galván and he also work with Vicente Amigo, actually one of the best guitar players.
