Xero (Zero), formata nel 1996, era il primo nome scelto per il gruppo che poi sarebbe diventato Linkin Park. La band era composta da Mark Wakefield, Mike Shinoda, Rob Bourdon, Joseph Hahn, Brad Delson e Dave Farrell. Il nome originale che scelsero per la band era SuperXero ma poi fu rivisto in Xero.
