Originally formed in the spring of 1998, Saraswati was Todd Bracik on guitar, Matt Chandler on bass and vocals, Andrew Greenburg on guitar and vocals, and Dave Clark on drums. Clark left the band after a few months and was replaced with Ben Adrian. The group released their first record, I Decided To Move To 30 Years Ago in March, 1999 and played a lot of shows around the midwest.
