1. Daddy is a musical duo comprised of James Franco and Timothy O'Keefe. The motivation behind Daddy is to push beyond the sonic space of music into the surrounding ecology. Daddy investigates the territories of film/video, installation, and performance while simultaneously exploring the connections that form between them.
While sampling has been an established and prevalent method of modern music making, Daddy’s approach moves beyond the ‘art of sampling’ into the act of appropriation. Not just appropriating a genre of music, but the moments it inhabits, and the characters that embody it.

Di famiglia cattolica e facoltosa, madre modella e padre insegnante, ebbe una vita agiata fin da bambino. Si iscrisse alla Howard University e dopo decise di lasciarla per intraprendere la carriera di musicista. Lavorò nella Uptown Records a fianco di Andre Harrell come semplice P.R.
Diventò subito produttore di Mary J. Blige e Jodeci nei primi anni di debutto. Fece molte produzioni per molti artisti, soprattutto mixaggi....
The band was born in 2002 of an idea of guitarist Luca Cabri, immediately supported by Nicola
Tomei, first drummer of the band, and by bass player Leone Villani Conti.
The three school mates shared the same strong passion for Helloween.
Cabri’s choice of Alessandro Conti, valued local singer, as vocalist was unquestionable.
The line-up was completed by Guido Benedetti, a guitar virtuoso who was already
playing with Leone in the prog-band called Black Fabula from Modena.
At the beginning of 2006, Nicola Tomei left the band,
and he was replaced by the talented drummer Mirko Virdis.
