Nynke Laverman is a Dutch singer who mainly sings in Frisian, a language that is spoken in Friesland, the northern province of The Netherlands. On her first album SIELESÂLT (Salt of the soul, 2004) she introduced ‘Frisian fado’. In 2006 she released DE MAISFROU (The Corn Woman), on which she let in Spanish, Mexican and Cuban influences. In Mongolia Nynke found inspiration for her new album NOMADE (Nomad, 2009). .

Synkopy (a.k.a. Synkopy 61) is a Czechoslovakian five-piece (2 keys, guitar, bass, drums, vocals) whose leader and primary songwriter, Oldrich Vesely, was once a member of another great Czech band: Modrý Efekt. Many comparisons can be drawn between Synkopy and Modry Efekt, not the least of which is a penchant for experimentation and bringing other styles (hard rock, blues, powerful rock vocals) into the sound and giving them their own progressive twist. OPSO je český orchestr hrající dobový jazz, swing, blues a spoustu dalších stylů z let 1922-1933, např. charleston, black bottom, foxtrot. Orchestr byl založen muzikologem Pavlem Klikarem na podzim roku 1974 původně jako kvintet - se třemi dechovými nástroji a dvoučlennou rytmickou sekcí, tvořenou pianem a banjem.
