I Bay City Rollers furono un gruppo musicale degli anni settanta proveniente da Edimburgo (Scozia). Diventarono nel 1975 un fenomeno di culto popolare, come nessun altro dai tempi dei Beatles, tanto è vero che, anche per loro, venne scomodata la definizione "Rollermania". Purtroppo, con l'inizio della loro parabola discendente, il gruppo subì vari cambiamenti nella formazione a causa di molte defezioni comportanti, persino, dispute giudiziarie tra i componenti. .

I New Trolls sono uno dei piú noti gruppi musicali della scena del rock progressivo italiano degli anni settanta. Fra le loro opere si trovano alcune delle pietre miliari del genere, come il celebre Concerto grosso per i New Trolls.
